Degree: Bachelor of Science in Health Management/ Fitness and Sports Medicine from Southeast Missouri State University.


Certifications: American College of Sports Medicine certified Health/ Fitness Specialist, National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, International Society of Sports Nutrition Certified, IDEA Recognized Master Personal Fitness Trainer.


Experience: He's trained nearly 1,400 personal training clients of all ages and backgrounds, initially in Tampa, FL, and then in St. Louis. Intern-Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of South Florida. Intern-Strength and Conditioning Coach for the New York Yankees during the 2002 Spring Training. High School Strength and Conditioning/ Basketball Coach in St. Louis, MO. 2005 Show Me Naturals Bantamweight Bodybuilding Champion. In addition, he has been a participant at the 2012-2023  World’s Toughest Mudders , finishing 3rd in his age group in 2023. Jason has also finished 15th in his age group at the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships .


 Jason started Assault Fitness in 2011 and has also presented at numerous clinics and seminars across to the region in order to pass on his knowledge and experience to a broader range of people. In addition, he writes articles for the sport of Obstacle Course racing for both Obstacle Racing Media and Mud Run Guide. Jason is also the inventor of the patented Neptune. A performance base layer waterproof human thermoregulation system.
